Odell House
Corner of Brunswick and Church Streets, Downtown Fredericton
Attraction #20

Jonathan Odell, a native of Newark NJ and a graduate of Princeton, was a chaplain during the Revolution to the King’s American Dragoons. His house is at 808 Brunswick St, and Odell Park was his original family land grant. Like many Loyalists, he maintained contact with relatives in the United States. Among his correspondence is a copy of a poem written by a nephew: ’Twas The Night Before Christmas”.
